SUBSTANCE: to produce a reduction product, the specified gaseous CO is supplied into a reaction chamber of a reactor with a fluidisated layer, and the gaseous CO is converted into solid carbon and gaseous carbon dioxide. At the same time the solid carbon is released to metal-containing material and/or to the reduction product. The metal-containing material is at least partially reduced with solid carbon to the reduction product using the metal-containing material and/or the reduction product in the form of an activator to convert the gaseous CO into solid carbon and the gaseous carbon dioxide. Besides, the solid carbon is released on the metal-containing material and/or the reduction production into a form of carbon nanotubes with the possibility of its subsequent separation and use.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of energy usage or production of lower volumes of dangerous waste gas.
