FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in agriculture for improving structure and composition of soil, increasing yield of vegetables, cereal crops and perennial grasses and relates to processing peat in order to obtain microdispersed organic fertilizer from peat. Method of producing fertilizer involves crushing peat in an aqueous or an aqueous-alkaline medium with the help of a disc cutter to the mean particle size of 80-120 mcm to obtain a suspension, treating the suspension with alkali at the weight ratio of components of the suspension (as per the dry substance) peat:water:alkali=1:(1-10):(0.1-1) at working disc cutter with simultaneous milling with the help of an immersion bead mill fixed on the same shaft with the cutter to the mean particle size of 10-30 mcm for 20-30 minutes at the temperature of 20-70 °C.
EFFECT: wasteless technology, simplified process, shorter duration, reduced cost of the end product, enabling the use of the fertilizer by spraying and drip irrigation.
