FIELD: household chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a laundry detergent, comprising a granulated foam control composition and an anionic surfactant, wherein said granulated foam control composition comprises: (a) a foam control agent comprising: i. a polydiorganosiloxane liquid comprising units of formula (I), where each group R, which may be identical or different, is selected from an alkyl group having 1 to 36 carbon atoms or an aryl group or aralkyl group having 1 to 36 carbon atoms, mean number of carbon atoms in groups R being at least 1.3; ii. a hydrophobic filler dispersed in polydiorganosiloxane liquid; (b) an organic additive having a melting point from about 45 °C to about 100 °C comprising a polyol ester which is a polyol esterified by carboxylate groups each having 7 to 36 carbon atoms, and which is miscible with said polydiorganosiloxane liquid; (c) a water-soluble inorganic carrier which is sodium sulphate, in form of particles; (d) a cationic polymer; (e) a surfactant; wherein granulated foam control composition contains a particle for controlling foaming, containing a core, which contains liquid polydiorganosiloxane liquid, hydrophobic filler and a water-soluble inorganic carrier in form of particles and core is at least partially coated with a shell containing a cationic polymer and a surfactant. Present invention relates to a method of cleaning cloth, method of saving water during laundry and a method of producing a laundry detergent.

EFFECT: technical result of present invention is improved preservation of foam during washing, improved reduction of foam during rinsing, as well as improved stability during storage.
