FIELD: household chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a laundry detergent, comprising a granular foam control composition and an anionic surfactant, wherein said granular foam control composition contains: (a) a foam control agent, containing: i. liquid polydiorganosiloxane liquid containing links of formula (I), where each group R, which can be identical or different, is selected from an alkyl group containing from 1 to about 36 carbon atoms, or an aryl group, or aralkyl group containing 1-36 carbon atoms, where average number of carbon atoms in groups R is at least 1.3; II. hydrophobic filler, which is silica dispersed in liquid polydiorganosiloxane liquid; (b) organic additive having a melting point from 45 °C to 100 °C, containing a polyol ester, which is a polyol, esterified with carboxylate groups, each of which contains from 7 to 36 carbon atoms, and which is miscible with said polydiorganosiloxane liquid; (c) a water-soluble inorganic carrier which is sodium sulphate, in form of particles; (d) a cationic polymer; (e) an anionic surfactant. Present invention also relates to a method of cleaning fabric and a method of producing a laundry detergent composition.

EFFECT: technical result of present invention is improved preservation of foam during washing, improved reduction of foam during rinsing, as well as improved stability during storage.
