FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave devices, intended for disinfection of medical, biologically dangerous and potentially dangerous wastes. Waste disinfection device comprises microwave chamber, containing operation chamber with container for placement of watered dangerous wastes, wherein at external side of operation chamber top part pressure unit is installed coaxially to hole in container cover with possibility of vertical movement inside operation chamber. In pressure unit on side, facing towards container, groove, forming inner cavity, is made, in immediate vicinity of container cover hole main sensor for measuring temperature of steam, escaping from container, is made, connected with control board. Control board is made with possibility of controlling power of magnetrons in normal operation mode based only on readings of above main sensor for measuring temperature of steam, escaping from container. Power control of magnetrons in emergency mode of device operation occurs only on basis of readings of sensor for measuring temperature of steam, mounted on tube for discharge of steam, escaping from container, outside container.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase reliability of device operation in case of emergency situations and minimize involvement of operator during decontamination of wastes.
