FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction. Column equivalent for a fence comprises a housing, made of two posts tops of which are joined together and at an angle, the posts have planks joined at an angle. Single-sided inner lower surfaces of each plank are connected to the inner lower surfaces of the opposite planks by means of horizontal braces. On outer surfaces of post planks there are lower and upper support sections. Hole formed by the upper support section, left plank and right plank, should provide passage of at least two longitudinal elements through the hole. In the second version of the column equivalent, one end of the braces is secured to turn on the plank of one post, and their second ends are laid on semicircular or angular retainers arranged on the opposite plank. Ends of angular posts are made with hinged wheels.
EFFECT: avoiding labour-consuming earthworks while installation of fences and using for joining of longitudinal elements of any length.
