FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering. Peculiar feature of the claimed multifrequency microstrip antenna is that planar antenna element is made with two lugs of rectangular shape, not crossing with a circular antenna element, circular antenna element has two gaps located orthogonally to protrusions, power supply device is made in the form of a coaxial probe, which has an electric contact with the planar antenna element topology at a distance of 0.38-0.42 (W/2), where W is the size of the planar antenna element topology, from its geometric centre on axis, turned relative to one of ledges at angle equal to 45° or counter clockwise, and the width of gaps is made in the range of 0.3 to 1.5 W, where w is the width of the circular antenna element.
EFFECT: technical result is design simplification and manufacturability improvement of the compact microstrip antenna, operating in broadband and two-band modes.
