SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small-sized planar antennas for airborne locators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), antenna systems for ground penetrating radars, dual-band frequency directional communication systems. A dual-polarization L and X-range broadband combined planar antenna with a common phase centre consists of two antennas, a low-frequency antenna operating in the L-band, and a high-frequency antenna operating in the X-band, with the high-frequency antenna located inside the low-frequency one. The design of the antenna allows the formation of fields with different types of polarization.

EFFECT: creation of a dual-polarization L and X range broadband combined planar antenna with a common phase centre aimed at reducing the weight and dimensions of the antenna system suitable for operating with ultrashort pulses.
