FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: ink removal system containing a support mechanism connected to the cleaning roll assembly and intended for displacement of the cleaning roll assembly between the working position, where the cleaning roll assembly is arranged on and partially in the tank for cleaning, for interaction with the intaglio printing cylinder, and the service position, where the cleaning roll assembly is brought out from the tank for cleaning and from the intaglio printing cylinder. Preferably the cleaning roll assembly comprises a rotating hollow cylindrical housing having an outer surface for cleaning the intaglio printing cylinder surface.
EFFECT: proposed is a system for removing ink for an intaglio printing machine comprising a tank for cleaning and a rotary assembly of the cleaning roll arranged on and partially in the tank for cleaning to remove excess ink from the surface of the rotary intaglio printing cylinder of the intaglio printing machine.
