SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing polymethylhydrosiloxanes. Disclosed is a method of producing polymethylhydrosiloxanes by hydrolytic polycondensation of methyldialkoxy silane of general formula MeHSi(OAlk)2, where Alk denotes C1-C3 alkyl, in a closed system.

EFFECT: proposed method is carried out without using organic solvents and catalysts and enables to obtain products of different structure: cyclic, linear and branched.
