FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering, specifically: to cover (1) and explosion-proof luminaire (2) with such cover. Covering, in particular, for explosion-proof luminaire at least comprises mounting frame(3), which is detachably fastened to luminaire, and a transparent luminaire cover (5) held at least along circumferential edge (4) by mounting frame (3). Before transparent cover there is transparent protective cover (6), giving whole cover heat resistance and impact strength.
EFFECT: technical result is prevention of microcracks in transparent cover at possible concussions and case.
