FIELD: light engineering.
SUBSTANCE: explosion-proof lamp comprises housing and transparent globe with flanges interconnected through a locking member for permitting gas to flow between the flanges. The gas-permeable heat absorbing ring spacer is interposed between the flanges. The ring member is mounted so that its top edge is arranged over the outer side of the housing flange.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and safety.
