FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: superstructure suspension bridge is suspended by means of two self-centering systems, each of which includes an external base -ground, where two pairs of outer rollers or sprockets and pylons with a pair of outer rollers or sprockets are fixed, and internal base with inner rollers or sprockets, successively connected to the external closed cable or the chain, by means of which the superstructure internal base is suspended. Load P/3 acts on each pair of rollers. Since one pair of rollers is secured on tops of two pylons, load P/6 acts on each roller and, consequently, on the top of the pylon. Load P2/3 is applied to rollers, fixed on the ground. Bridge is high wind resistant, since the cable is strained and forms rigid triangles between rotation rollers.
EFFECT: Bridge has high resistance to seismic vibrations, since changing in distance between pylons does not increase the load on the bridge superstructure.
