FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: device for concentrating solutions by freezing and obtaining ice contains an evaporator, a product supply system including a product supply line connected to the bath, a pump communicating with distribution manifolds, an ice box and a refrigeration unit with an air condenser and a defrost system. Evaporator is placed vertically and has a developed heat exchange surface, is irrigated with a product from the nozzles of the manifolds on both sides and contains a displacing insert for the coolant in the internal cavity. Refrigeration unit is equipped with a regenerative heat exchanger installed in front of the thermostatic expansion valve.
EFFECT: proposed device for freezing and obtaining ice allows to increase the productivity when obtaining the necessary concentration of liquid product, to increase the reliability of the unit while reducing energy costs.
