FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bullets of hunting cartridges for rifled weapon firing at animal weighing more than 100 kg, mainly of gross representatives of Big African Five, as well as a bear, a moose, a boar, etc. Bullet includes a head and a tail cores sequentially arranged in a shell having an ogival nose part adjacent to the head core, a leading part and a skewed at an angle rear part adjacent to the tail core, and prior to the head core there is a cavity. Head core has a Brinell hardness value smaller than that of the tail core, herewith the ratio of their masses is 0.53-0.58 and that of the specific weights is 1.05-0.95. Bullet provides high precision and maximum penetration and expanding action.
EFFECT: invention enables higher efficiency of firing at optimal for this type of hunting distance and reducing the number of wounded animals.
