FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hot rolling. Shielding panel comprises set of identical metal pipes filled with heat insulator installed on two identical cylindrical rods, as well as brackets and baffle, connecting said rods with panel body. Higher efficiency and reliability of device is ensured by, that rod cylindrical section length exceeds set of pipes, brackets and baffle thickness by value of their thermal expansion. Set is provided with possibility of each pipe side walls full simultaneous coverage with gap. In places of location set of brackets and baffle gap between pipes side walls is increased by thickness of these parts.
EFFECT: disclosed is shielding panel of heat retention plant by metal at strip hot rolling mill roller bed.
