FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for treating defects of achilles tendon. Tendon of a long flexor muscle of hallux is transected at the level of a foot arch. Distal end of the tendon is fixed to a short flexor muscle of hallux. Proximal end of the tendon is moved through tunnels formed in the distal and proximal ends of achilles tendon. Proximal end of the tendon of long plantar muscle is placed between ascending and descending portions of the tendon of a long flexor muscle of hallux. After H-shaped vaginal fasciotomy, a back tibial muscle is delivered to transplanted tendons, its fascial leaves are also fixed to side surfaces of achilles tendon and transplanted tendons.
EFFECT: method enables recovering the complete functionality of the tendon.
