FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering, particularly, to foldable antennae. Radiator for a deployable antenna array comprises an electric vibrator and a power supply line made in the form of a coaxial cable fixed on a bearing metal bar. Vibrator is installed on a dielectric base fixed on the bearing metal bar with the help of an axel isolated from the bearing metal bar. In the metal bar there is a recess with the beginning in its top, on the opposite side of the bar there is a longitudinal section also starting in its top, on opposite sides of the section the braiding and the central conductor of the coaxial cable of the power supply line are unsoldered. Longitudinal section performs the function of a balancing device. Length and width of the longitudinal section are determined from the requirement of matching the electric vibrator.
EFFECT: providing reliability of the radiator and constancy of characteristics of matching.
