FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing, specifically to creation of general-purpose powder for extinguishing class A, B, C fires and operating electric installations. Fire extinguishing powder contains ammophos and a target additive. Target additive is a synthetic mineral alloy, including silicon oxides, aluminium, calcium, iron (II), magnesium, iron (III), titanium, potassium and/or sodium, chromium (III).
EFFECT: technical result is faster process of fire extinguishing and suppressing formation of smoldering particles with simultaneous improvement of operational characteristics: fluidity and apparent density, low cost of powder.
