FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic materials industry, primarily to compositions of mixtures for making ceramic bricks. Ceramic mixture contains the following components, wt%: inter-shale clay 50-70, burnt rocks formed after spontaneous burning of slate coal 25-38, magnesium-containing slag from production of high-carbonized ferrochromium 5-12. Slag from production of high-carbonized ferrochromium containing oxides, wt%: Cr2O3 3.72; SiO2 27.33; Al2O3 20.3; Fe2O3 0.94; CaO 0.91; MgO 46.8, is introduced into the ceramic mass been ground until passage through a sieve of 1.0 mm. Obtained technical solution using magnesium-containing slag from production of high-carbonized ferrochromium increases frost resistance and strength of ceramic bricks.
EFFECT: use of industrial raw materials in production of ceramic bricks enables recycling of industrial wastes, environmental protection, expansion of raw material base for ceramic materials.
