SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by addition to ceramic mass of shale slag with the following content, wt %: SiO2 - 22.4; Al2O3 - 12.2; Fe2O3 - 7.8; CaO - 17.3; MgO - 1.3; R2O - 5.2; lost on ignition - 33.8 at the following component ratio, wt %: inter-shale clay 50-70; shale slag 30-50.
EFFECT: increasing freeze resistance and reducing density of light brick.
