FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industry of ceramic materials, primarily to compositions of mixtures for making ceramic bricks. technical result is high frost resistance and compression strength of ceramic bricks. Ceramic composition contains inter-slate clay and iron containing slag TPP with content, wt. %: SiO2 - 53.3; Al2O3 - 4.5; Fe2O3 - 31.5; CaO - 1.2; MgO - 0.5; Na2O - 0,47; K2O - 0.13; ignition loss - 8.4, with the following ratio of components, wt%: inter-slate clay 50-70; iron-containing slag TPP 30-50.
EFFECT: use of industrial raw materials in production of ceramic bricks enables recycling of industrial wastes, environmental protection, expansion of raw material base for ceramic materials.
