Cooling method of double cylinder single-stroke free piston power module external combustion chamber, including power module common external combustion chamber with cooling jacket, two expansion machines with power module pistons and rods, power module pistons and rods cooling system, consists in, that power module external combustion chamber cooling jacket is connected by pipelines with power module expansion machines pistons and rods cooling system, wherein cooling liquid, transferred by power module expansion machines pistons and rods cooling system and cooled in radiator, successively cooling first power module expansion machines pistons and rods, and then power module common external combustion chamber, or cooling jacket is connected by pipelines with power module expansion machines pistons and rods cooling system so, that cooling liquid, transferred by power module expansion machines pistons and rods cooling system and cooled in radiator, first, cooling power module common external combustion chamber, and then power module expansion machines pistons and rods.

EFFECT: invention enables maintenance of double cylinder single-stroke free piston power module external combustion chamber temperature in working range.
