SUBSTANCE: temperature control method of pistons and rods with external combustion chamber free-piston radiator bypass power module as follows. When the coolant flows through the radiator, the heat of the coolant is radiated into the environment, the temperature of the coolant, pistons and rods of the power module becomes less than optimal. The control system needs a bypass valve in an open position, and the coolant is circulated bypassing the radiator. As a result, the temperature of the pistons and rods of the power module becomes larger, and at the time when the temperature of the coolant, pistons and rods exceeds the optimum value, the control system will again move the shunt valve to the closed position. Thus, the temperature of the pistons and rods of the power module is maintained in the optimum range.
EFFECT: control of the temperature of the pistons and rods of a free-piston power module with an external combustion chamber by shunting the radiator.
