SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of augmented reality technology. Method of preflight passengers navigation in airport includes information kiosks with boarding passes bar codes scanners located in airport passenger zones, touch screens and processors, connected to airport information system, demonstrating on screen in standby mode prompt to tap boarding pass to scanner for obtaining information on route to departure gate, sending recognized code to airport information system and receiving from it information on departure gate number and boarding time, demonstration of route to departure gate to passenger, which has spatial geometry with movement between airport floors, is carried out using airport three-dimensional computer model in augmented reality mode with possibility of simultaneous positioning at different levels by height, equipped with circular photo-panoramic sights and connected with airport information systems for displaying actual data to passenger in real time as three-dimensional model elements.

EFFECT: higher speed and accuracy of air passenger orientation with demonstration to it of three-dimensional route to departure gate with complex spatial geometry.
