SUBSTANCE: system for providing communication between passengers and infrastructure of system-wide information management comprises: passenger electronic device (110), configured to send at least personal passenger data, geographic location information of device and time mark of device; control unit (206), made with possibility of obtaining passenger route plan and passenger identity confirmation based on correspondence between passenger personal data, geographical location and time mark of passenger electronic device and information contained in obtained route plan of passenger; wherein control unit (206) is also configured to access updated information on air traffic related to passenger, after passenger identity confirmation, and sending a message relating to the passenger and containing the flight status information for display on the passenger electronic device (110).

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of joint use of information by passenger electronic devices and SWIM infrastructure.
