SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a group of inventions relates to cytoprotective, neuroprotective and retinoprotective composition. Invention describes the composition for prevention and/or treatment of genetic retinal dystrophy, containing (i) ramipril or Ramiprilat, or their salt and (ii) folic acid, or folate, or their salt; set of the same purpose, including said (i), (ii) and optionally an instruction, method for the same application and method for preserving or improving the vision in an animal suffering from hereditary retinal dystrophy.
EFFECT: technical result is in improvement of visual acuity; suggested synergism of ramipril and folic acid in increase of production of NO.
