SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to woodworking, particularly to cutting devices. Cutting device for a processing machine comprises a flexible cutting element and a guiding assembly both forming a closed system. Guiding assembly comprises the main flexible element and a holder of the flexible cutting element having at least two differently oriented guiding surfaces provided for directing the flexible cutting element in the assembled state. Main element of the guiding assembly is made T-shaped or the flexible cutting element holder contains at least two elements holding the flexible cutting element. Processing system includes a cutting device and a portable processing machine with a fitting assembly for connection with a geometrical and/or a force closure with the cutting device. Cutting device is separated from the element ensuring transmission of the torque, which is located in the guiding assembly.

EFFECT: provided is higher strength of the guiding assembly of the cutting device.
