SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to woodworking, particularly to cutting devices. Cutting device for a processing machine comprises a flexible cutting element and a guiding assembly. Maximum size of the flexible cutting element in a direction substantially perpendicular to the cutting plane of the flexible cutting element is less than 4 mm. Flexible cutting element and the guiding assembly both form a closed system. Portable processing machine comprises a fitting device intended for connection with a geometrical and/or a force closure with the cutting device. Processing system includes a cutting device for the processing machine and a portable processing machine.

EFFECT: provided is reduced required drive power of the cutting device.
