SUBSTANCE: invention relates to offshore floating structures and can be used during exploration and production of offshore oil and gas. Floating offshore platform, comprises a housing having a plurality of vertically extending columns connected to pontoons. Pontoons are arranged at least partially below a surface of water. Keel plate is located at level of keel of platform in centre of open area of housing. Plate is configured to be arranged at least partially below water surface. Between at least a section of external perimeter of keel plate and internal perimeter of housing there is a gap.
EFFECT: improved stability of offshore platform.
