FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sensor for determination of gas content in two-phase fluid medium flowing in a flow line. Said sensor comprises a cartridge (10) designed to be placed in a flow line, in flow (F) of fluid medium. Cartridge (10) contains multiple measuring electrodes (1-5), which is set in pairs multiple zones (A-D) separating the flow passage of cartridge (10). Sensor additionally contains members (50) and measurement, which are connected to the measuring electrodes (1-5) to control switching of each zone (A-D) of the cartridge (10) between the measurement status and condition of absence of measurement. Members (50) and measuring have the possibility of selective switching state of each of the zones (A-D) independently from each other.

EFFECT: present invention enables to accurately determine the local percentage of gas bubbles within specifically preset section.
