FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device (100, 100') of plaque detection using a dental flow probe is proposed, which is configured so that the passage of fluid (30) through open hole (136, 2604) of distal probe tip (112, 112') allows to detect substance (116) on tooth surface (31, 33) based on the measurement of the signal correlated with the substance, at least partially preventing fluid (30) from passing through open hole (136, 2604). Device (100, 100') includes proximal pumping portion (124) and at least one distal probe portion (110) configured to be immersed in another fluid (11), for example, water in the toothpaste foam.
EFFECT: plaque detection device using dental flow probe has been proposed.
