FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Linear actuator for controlling the valve of a medical device comprises a rotary electric motor, a piston and a converting means arranged between the motor and the piston designed to convert the rotational motion of the motor into linear displacement of the piston. Conversion means comprises a peripheral beveled portion located within the piston, a pressing means adapted to interact with said peripheral beveled portion, and a guiding means allowing the piston perform translational movement. Beveled portion has a threshold protrusion located at its uppermost portion and a passage allowing the piston to be released from the forces exerted on it by the beveled portion and the pressing means. An actuating system for controlling a medical device valve comprising a linear actuator is disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring power saving.
