Method as per the invention involves simultaneous or successive administering the therapeutically effective amount of 5-10 mg of S-equol or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or hydrate and from 50 to 100 mg of doxycycline hyclate. Composition as per the invention contains from 5 to 10 mg of S-equol or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or hydrate and from 50 to 100 mg of doxycycline hyclate.

EFFECT: using the inventions enables reducing comedones and inflammatory injuries and improve condition of patients with acne.
