FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: dwell time controlling system and method for automatic control of selection and distribution in time of pressure sequence, used to drive plunger in rough mold during pellet forming process. Distribution in time of pressing observed curve characteristics based on one or more previous pellet forming cycles is determined and used for control over distribution of pressure changes in time during next cycle of pellet forming. In order to prevent rough mold forced opening and to prevent overpressed neck formation, time distributions of these pressure changes are determined as specified, expressed in percentage of characteristics part distributed in time.

EFFECT: simplifies maintenance, provides design reliability and durability.
