FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of spring floods, namely to environmental protection of fish fauna of rivers and people habitat near rivers during spring floods. Ice breaker-ecologist comprises starling-bulls, installed in front of supports of bridges or other river crossings. Starling-bulls are placed in staggered order and in parallel to axis of riverbed along course of above river at distance from it and between them not less than its length. Starling-bulls are equipped with ropes with parallel floating garlands of floating bands with length not less than length of river crossing.

EFFECT: invention provides absence of conditions for occurrence of mash and extreme lifting of water level with elimination of vibration impact of waves of air and structural noise on structure of bridges and people coastal habitation, and source of hydraulic impact on fish fauna of rivers, involving great weight loss of whitebait and adult individuals, dwelling and going in area of explosion.
