SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method of producing thermophosphates of low-quality phosphate raw material includes mixing it with sodium-containing compound with subsequent sintering of obtained mixture at temperature of 900-1,000 °C for 30 minutes, cooling and milling of product, wherein sodium-containing compound is mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium sulphate in weight ratio of Na₂CO₃:Na₂SO₄ equal to 1:2.5-4, with introduction of carbon in amount of 25-40 % of sodium sulphate weight, and mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium sulphate is supplied for mixing in amount, providing weight ratio of Na₂O:P₂O₅, equal to 1.0-1.1:1.

EFFECT: invention widens range of reagent base of thermophosphates production and designs method for obtaining high-quality phosphorous fertilizers.
