FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products intended for fixing of various articles and materials, in particular, to fixing nails, and can be used for nailing wooden boards and other wood construction materials in order to create structures, intended for long-term storage under high-temperature drop environment and frequent periodic mechanical actions of reciprocal nature. Rod of the nail is made in the form of multifaceted pyramid, pyramid base has the shape of a cap, pyramid edges are arranged in planes of straight rod axis, faces' surface is made with roughness peaks with height of 0.1-0.4 mm, staggered and at equal distance from each other, and protective material has heat insulation, water repellent and antiseptic activity.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced local temperature difference in surface area of a nail and inner surface of a punched with nail wood channel, value of nail cap protrusion above wood surface, process of rotting and darkening, cracking of wood material, prolonged service life, maintaining of high strength of wooden structure at continuous operation under high ambient temperature difference and mechanical impact of reciprocal character as rotating, rolling, swaying and vibrating.
