SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portable electronic devices of tablet type. Portable electronic device (1) of tablet type according to present invention includes housing (2) in form of plate, having front surface (21), touch panel and display unit (3), arranged on front surface (21) of housing (2), as well as units (4, 5, 6) for reading, which read card (C2) associated with a payment. Units (4, 5, 6) for reading are made integral with housing (2).
EFFECT: technical result is creation of a portable electronic device, which can perform a payment using a card, and having a compact size.
