SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method, in which offline section is set accordingly for each light-weight application; key page elements are produced relative to some light-weight application, corresponding to this lightweight application, when network download speed exceeds predetermined threshold value; page key elements are saved as offline data in corresponding offline section; in case of light-weight application launching receiving from server offline configuration element corresponding to lightweight application, wherein offline configuration element is configured by server; and processing offline data in light-weight application offline section in accordance with offline configuration, wherein offline configuration element contains information on offline data deletion time or offline configuration element contains information on offline data deletion amount.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing control over offline data deletion during lightweight application update in offline mode.
