FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during designing, tests and operation of planned to use from readiness maintenance mode (RMM) or from standby mode (SM) of radio-electronic articles (REA) for determining of their optimum maintenance periods (MP). It is achieved due to, that disclosed is device for determining of article optimum maintenance period, which comprises pulse generator 1, time counter 2, initial data recording registers 3-6, “AND” elements unit 7, multiplier unit 8, device of calculation, storage and distribution of article 9 faultless operation probability, “OR” elements unit 10, multiplication units 11, 12, accumulating adder 13, adder 14, division unit 15, fifth and sixth registers 16, 17, “AND” elements second and third units 18, 19, comparing unit 20, delay elements 21-26.

EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of optimum MP frequency determining by taking into account in MP cycle of final operation conducting of RMM article tests for operation after scheduled preventive maintenance (SPM) during periodic maintenance (PM) or emergency preventive maintenance (EPM) before product transferring into standby mode.
