FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cleaning a surface with nozzle unit (10) comprising: brush (12) rotating around axle (14) of the brush, herewith the said brush (12) comprises brush elements (16) with end sections (18) for contacting with surface (20) to be cleaned and capturing contaminating particles (22) and/or liquid (24) from surface (20) during rotation of brush (12); drive for rotation of brush (12); reflecting element (32) having reflecting surface (33) ensuring bouncing of contaminating particles (22) and/or liquid (24), which are separated from brush (12) during rotation, to brush (12), wherein the said reflecting surface (33) is located at a distance from brush (12) and extends, in fact, in parallel to axle (14) of the brush; and regulator (35) to adjust the position of reflecting element (32) relative to surface (20) depending on direction (40) of the device movement, herewith regulator (35) is made with the possibility to locate reflecting element (32) in the first position, in which reflecting element (32) has the first distance d1 to surface (20), when the cleaning device moves forward, in which reflecting element (32), if seen in direction (40) of the device movement, lies behind brush (12), and to locate reflecting element (32) in the second position, in which reflecting element (32) has the second distance d2 to the surface, when the cleaning device moves in the opposite direction backward, herewith d2 exceeds d1 and equals d3×tan(α), wherein d3 is the distance between reflecting surface (33) and the position of brush (12), where end sections (18) loose contact with surface (20) to be cleaned during rotation of brush (12), and α is an angle, which is equal to or less than 20°.
