FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a tobacco composition, a smoking article containing such a composition, and a method of producing a smoking article. Tobacco composition contains tobacco and aromatic plant parts, which do not derive from tobacco plant, wherein amount of aromatic plant parts is in range of from 0.5 to 25 wt% with respect to total weight of tobacco and aromatic plant parts, tobacco composition is suitable for a smoking article, selected from a cigarette, cigarillo, cigar, tobacco pipe, fine-cut for self-made cigarettes, wherein aromatic plant parts contain at least one substance selected from following list: spearmint, peppermint, anise, rosemary, wintergreen, avocado, lavender, mate, ginger, lemon myrtle, wherein aromatic plant parts have a size determined by screening, in the range from 0.1 mm to 10 mm.

EFFECT: creating a tobacco-containing article, which can provide user with new taste and aroma sensation, but does not require high manufacturing costs.
