SUBSTANCE: smoking product comprising a tobacco substrate and a filter segment containing a filter material disposed coaxially with the wrapped tobacco substrate and adjacent thereto end-to-end. A hydrophobic filter wrapper is located around the filter material. The filter wrapper is hydrophobic due to the hydrophobic groups chemically bonded to the filter wrapper.
