SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for smoking tobacco production, which involves mixing in equal proportions of Doha variety taste tobacco raw material and aromatic tobacco of eastern Samsun type, with previously removed middle vein, conditioning to technologically required moisture content of 22 ± 1 %, cutting into fibres with width of 0.6 ± 1 mm, fractionation with removal of dust and part of fine fraction to volume of fibre in smoking tobacco content of 80 %, thermal treatment at T = 55 ± 2 °C for 40 minutes, spraying a mixture of glycerine with water (0.3 %), performing storing within 24 hours, packaging.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining smoking tobacco of good quality, medium strength, high aroma with high content of coarse fibre, improving inflammability.
