FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering and can be used in medical therapeutic plants. X-ray phosphor Zn3(PO4)2:Mn is produced by coprecipitation of a base and an activator from aqueous solutions of Zn(NO3)2 and Mn(NO3)2. Precipitation agents used are consecutively aqueous solutions of NH4H2PO4 and NH3. Precipitation is started in an acidic medium with gradual increase of pH to neutral value, and salting-out agent added to solution is ethyl alcohol. Obtained precipitate is filtered, washed several times with bidistilled water, dried on air, ground and annealed in several steps with gradual increase of temperature at each stage, intermediate cooling and grinding between steps. Particles of obtained X-ray phosphor have average size of 55 nm, which enables to obtain a colloidal solution suitable for introduction into patient's body.
EFFECT: higher output of end product.
