FIELD: pharmaceutics; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmacology and biotechnology and can be used as a highly effective photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy of cancer and other new growths of various genesis, as well as fluorescent diagnostics of cancer cells. Disclosed is a method of producing a radioluminescent preparation based on a chlorin E6 adduct containing a europium compound as a luminophore. Water-soluble complex of europium citrate is added to a diluted aqueous solution of dimeglumine chlorine E6 in molar ratio dimeglumine chlorine E6:Eu:cit=1:1:3 with pH=7. Europium citrate complex is obtained by adding sodium citrate to an aqueous solution of europium chloride in molar ratio Eu:cit=1:3.
EFFECT: invention enables minimizing toxicity of the preparation for photodynamic therapy of deep tumours and increasing the efficacy of the photosensitizer by producing a small-size complex which enables the preparation to penetrate directly into the cell.
