FIELD: lighting engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Circuit of light-emitting diode (LED) for lighting with increased efficiency uses DC circuit on LED connection circuit load side. LED connection circuit is connected with AC source and includes: rectifier circuit, rectifying current from AC source; control circuit connected to rectifier circuit output; LED load and DC circuit, which are in series connected to control circuit output; capacitor, parallel connected to LED load and DC circuit, which are in series connected to each other, wherein capacitor smoothes rectification circuit output signal; detector circuit, recognizing whether rectified current voltage exceeds preset certain voltage value, which is equal to or exceeds total voltage supplied to LED load with connected LED load, and voltage supplied by DC circuit with LED load switching on. If after recognition by detector circuit rectified current voltage value does not exceed such specified voltage value, control circuit transmits rectification circuit output signal, and if rectified current voltage exceeds this preset voltage value, control circuit acts so that periodically performed rectification circuit output signal first lock operation and rectification circuit output signal second transmission operation.
