FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing and providing the user with information on objects, namely to generation and presentation of information on multiple points of interest. Card of first interest point and card of second interest point are recieved on the server, each of cards includes a predetermined set of parameters describing the corresponding object, and obtaining from each card multiple parameters including location parameters and descriptive parameters. Then one performs calculation of quantitative magnitude proximity of the first and second points of interest, which indicates potential possibility of associating these points of interest, and in response to quantitative index of proximity excessing proximity threshold complex point of interest is created. Complex point of interest is assigned, at least partially, information from a data card of one of interest points, defined as the main point of interest.

EFFECT: technical result consists in more compact display of the most significant information, which provides the user with possibility of faster orientation in data aqusition.
