FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to versions of a method for isomerisation of paraffins. One of versions includes a step of compressing a vapour stream of a stabiliser, containing C4 - hydrocarbons from a receiver an overhead distillate of a stabiliser of a section of isomerisation of C5/C6, to form a compressed stream of stabiliser containing C4 - hydrocarbons; contacting in section for isomerisation of C4 hydrocarbons C4 hydrocarbon-containing feed stream, which contains straight C4 hydrocarbons, with chloride-promoted isomerisation catalyst in presence of hydrogen to form a stream exiting reaction zone, containing branched C4 hydrocarbons; combination of at least part of compressed stream of stabiliser containing C4 - hydrocarbons, with stream exiting reaction zone, containing branched C4 hydrocarbons, to form a combined stream containing C4 hydrocarbons; and separation of combined stream containing C4 hydrocarbons into vaporous stream of stabiliser containing C3 - hydrocarbons, and a stream of product enriched with C4 hydrocarbons, which contains C4 hydrocarbons, prior to step of compressing vaporous stream of stabiliser containing C4 - hydrocarbons, dried for removal of moisture drops and/or deposits from vaporous stream of stabiliser containing C4 - hydrocarbons.
EFFECT: use of proposed invention enables to extract C4 hydrocarbons with low capital and operational costs.
